Sustainable Leadership

Can Build your Culture and Serve your Cause

Do you want to achieve more?

As a cause-driven leader, there's so much you can achieve. But let's not pretend it's easy. Leadership demands relentless focus and attention—and often stretches your capacity.

That's where Sustainable Leadership can help you—saving you from...

Sustainable Leadership helps you tackle these problems and deliver effective change.

As a coach and facilitator, I've seen it help individuals, teams and organisations move forward in purpose and achieve their objectives.

It can help you, too.

  • Losing key staff

  • Not achieving your aims

  • Not delivering on outcomes

  • Missing targets

  • Teams not aligned

  • Lost direction and drive

Sustainable leadership brings sustainable outcomes

Sustainable Leadership is based on industry best practices and proven frameworks.

Whether you need one-off coaching or long-term support, it gives you the skills to deliver results...

  • Clarified vision & purpose

  • Values Alignment

  • A sustainable business plan

  • Collaborative culture

  • Higher accountability

  • Empowered leaders

  • Engaged employees

  • Increased productivity

  • Achieved objectives

You can make a difference

Wherever you are in your leadership right now, I believe you can make a difference. Whatever support you need, the focus is always on making the difference you want to achieve—by delivering sustainable outcomes through sustainable leadership.

From my experience in leadership and management, I know it isn't easy. Numerous times I've looked back on situations and thought, 'Now that wasn't such a good idea!'

Insights from both difficult situations and rewarding successes are documented in the book, PRIZE Winning Leadership, which I wrote to help others fulfil their vision.

Its content forms the basis of the leadership development I've provided senior executives and teams over the past decade:

  • Helping organisations develop and execute their plans to fulfil the mission, guided by core values and long-term vision.

  • Facilitating teams to be more collaborative and cause-driven.

  • Coaching individuals to play to their strengths and develop their skills.

As part of this, I offer accredited training in world-class leadership programmes, such as those by John Maxwell and Patrick Lencioni, which can be tailored to your needs.

What other difference makers are saying...

The session with Roger helped me focus on what it was I was trying to achieve. It clarified my goals and objectives and made it clear that I knew where I was going.

Nick Brennan (Head Teacher)

Roger’s method of training is the right balance for drawing out the best ideas. Today’s session alone was worth the price of 10 years of executive coaching.

Joshua Fischer (CEO, Interlearn Education)

Roger listens carefully to your situation. He’ll help you pause and think through it from different perspectives and help remind you of the bigger goals you’re trying to achieve

Steven Roberts (Life.Church, Oklahoma)

Take Sustainable Steps to Fulfil Your Purpose

As a cause-driven leader, nothing excites you more than the vision of a thriving team working effectively to fulfil its purpose – a purpose aligned with the company’s mission and values, serving beyond the bottom line towards a greater need.

But the reality is often different. Just the slightest misalignment can ripple throughout the organisation and affect targets, morale and company culture. Before long, minor issues mount up to major obstacles. Progress is stalled. People are complaining. Conversations turn sour. And staff turnover becomes a vicious cycle.

When that happens, your focus shifts from what you can achieve to how you can survive. As a result, your purpose suffers.

How can you future-proof your organisation and bring about positive change?

Over 30 years' experience in leadership and management have taught me that you need to manage things and lead people. When you do that, you give yourself the best possible chance of successfully fulfilling your vision and mission.

But how?

In my work as a leadership specialist, I help people— CEOs, teams and organisations—clarify their cause, become more collaborative and take consistent action in order to fulfil their purpose. We identify specific needs and get to work on developing a model of sustainable leadership that will serve them over the long term.

In this way, they bring about positive change and make the difference they set out to achieve.

A Case in Point

After 10+ years of expansion, YMCA North Staffordshire could see a challenging next phase approaching. Questions were looming over how to empower leadership and keep up momentum.

At the same time in 2018, its CEO Danny Flynn asked me to provide a day of leadership development for his Senior Management Team.

In Danny's eyes, that day provided the seed of the solution for future growth. The work has developed into regular facilitation of leadership days involving coaching and strategic business planning—with sustainable results.

I asked Danny to share the story...

What's Your Purpose?

And how do you go about achieving it?

In this free download, I share four key questions that have proved transformational in my own life and the lives of leaders I’ve coached. Gaining clarity on these questions can help you define your purpose and set you on a new path of achievement.

It can also provide a good basis for further discussion in the free 40-minute Discovery Call I offer.
